Pres says Ukraine to blacklist Russian State Duma officials Wed

KIEV, Dec 26 (PRIME) -- The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine will blacklist the Russians involved in a naval conflict near Crimea and deputies of the State Duma on Wednesday, President Pyotr Poroshenko said at a meeting with the authority.

“Today a draft ruling on application of sanctions by Ukraine is on the agenda of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine,” Poroshenko said.

The sanctions will cover deputies of the United Russia and the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, he said.

The companies supplying goods to the Russian army will also be on the list, Poroshenko said.

On Tuesday, Russia expanded the list of Ukrainian individuals and companies against which special restrictive measures will be applied. The expanded list includes the State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine (Ukreximbank), power generating company Centrenergo, First Logistics Company, and insurance group TAS.
